Turbo Grafx - CD How do I get the roms to show up?

I'm trying to setup Turbo Grafx - CD but should I have them zipped as one file?

It's Bin + Cue format.

Trying Ootake as the Emulator...Anyone have the same setup can shed any light thanks.

I can't get the games to shop up and I've tried .Bin filters and such in the settings.

Note that having them zipped in one file would take some time to unzip them before they can be ran. So that's a matter of preference. I personally don't care to have disc images zipped as that can take awhile.

If you want to go that route then the correct way to list would be to add the *.bin or *.cue filter (depending on which one is needed to run the disc image). Then set the Zip/7-Zip/GoodMerge setting to Yes in Emulator Setup (A registered only feature). GameEx will list the zipped images for you and when selected, it will display the file needed to run the image.

According to your title, you have them unzipped. If unzipped then having the filter should show them based on that filter. If not then please post your config for that emulator. My guess is that maybe you have them in their own folders and you don't have the Scan Sub Folders in Emulator Setup set to Yes. If that's the case then that would explain why they are not showing up in the list.

I can have them Either/Or....I have them zipped and unzipped trying to get this to work.

What's best method? when it comes to loading the games with Daemon Tools Lite(Which I'm not sure how that works from the GameEX menu)...

It's my first time doing CD-Rom files in these formats...Sega CD/Turbo CD...Bin/Que

Well, as I mentioned before, having them unzipped is best IMO. It's just faster to load the disc image. But to each his/her own.

If using Daemon Tools then would want to add the command-line in the Launch Before. There are many examples in the forums. I'll try to find you one here in a few.

Here's an example. Might need some tweaking based on location among other things. But something to get you started.

Hey here is my setup screenshots... I click on a game , the screen gets dark and it goes back to Gamex. I don't see daemon lite launching either which I would expect.

I went into Ootake and changed to the mount Drive E: and told it to use Syscard3.pce...

My files are unzipped Bin + Cue, how does gameex know which one to launch or Daemon lite to mount?

I've only worked with 1 file whether it be ISO...etc just not Bin + Cue files for Cdrom based games.

Instead of posting the pics, for troubleshooting purposes, it's best to export your config and post. I see 2 things wrong with that config. 1st thing I notice is that you have too many quotes in the launch before as suggested by my first link. The 2nd problem is that you're using 2 ways of mounting the image based on this thread. Please fix those 2 issues and if you still have problems then export your config.
