new user with slikstik question

I'm giving GameEX a try and I had a question about configuring the slikstik controller.

Right now the default settings makes it not to friendly. I know with slikstik the config can be passed to MAME to set it up. Do I just modify the command line for starting MAME to use the slikstik config file or is there a better way in GameEX?

I figured out adding the controller option to MAME. Now I just have to figure out on configuring GameEX so it doesn't step on the buttons I want for MAME / Others... Is there an easy selection for the Classic Slikstik configuration?

I thought MAME came with a SlikStik_classic.cfg for the controls, if not let me know and i can send you mine. (I'm running my cab with a SlikStik and I love it.

George T is referring to a controller (Ctrlr) file. If you don't know how to use one, use Google, or you can ask here if you can't figure it out.

I have the controller file and got it working in MAME. Just hadn't had to do it in a while. So I got that part working.

Now I just have to configure the GameEX button mappings to not step on the buttons MAME wants to use. One button, exit, is right in my six next to the joystick. Shouldn't be a problem just need to go through configuration and set it up I would think.
