What does SNV Build mean

just a quick question about SNV Builds, so what does it mean.

In what context? I seem to recall the acronyn is related to open source software and source code control. I think it means current version under source code control, and not officially released alpha, beta or stable.

It means subversion according to wikipedia.

Yeah, its a source code control system. If a specific software build says its an "SVN Build" (probably with a date, or very long version number), its pretty much as I said. Its that particular version under source code control, and not an official stable, alpha or beta release.

I asked as i was over at the Dolphin site with the official build at Rev 2 but there is a list of SNV builds.

I think you need to compile them yourself but thats beyond my grasp of computing at the moment so i went with Rev 2
