I've had my MAME cab for years, been running GameEx forever but something has gone haywire. When I try to play Missle Command, the center fire base is mapped to the 'L' key (SlikStik) but when I press it, GameEx takes me to the 'Game Info' screen. Anyone have any ideas how I can remedy this?

Thanks

Yes, change the in game key under input settings. Its easiest via the setup wizard.

Tom, I went to advance settings -> input settings -> and changed the 'in game key' to "/" and when I hit the middle base "L" it still goes in to 'In Game' screen :(

Ok, did what you said...it goes back to the 'in game' screen, but if I hit escape, it will go back to missile command and the middle button will work but it closes out GameEx :(

Here's the error message I get after restarting GameEx:

Ill think you find thats an occasional error message. The advanced config requires a key code. Did you set it via the Setup Wizard? Did it retain the setting?

Maybe not enough haste in your reply?

Tom, as always you are a super-genius! I didn't see it the first time I ran config wizard but I think it's because I chose 'basic' instead of 'advanced' (duh!) I made the change in Wizard and it worked like a charm. Thanks for the fine program and the fine tech support.
