Gameexreg key dosnt work for window 7

I was hoping someone could help me here. I am trying to update my computer in my MAME arcade. However my old gxkey does not seem to work for window 7. I tired emailing but i haven't gotten a reply. Is there a way for me to mod the key to work for window 7 ? Thanks!

also some times with windows 7 you might have to rename the extension to .reg from .exkey it is rare but might need to be done

I should update the FAQ with this, but if youve done a new install of Windows 7 and installed fresh GameEx and not messed with user account control then you need to run GameEx as administrator once after youve installed the key.
