Hello,

I have the following problems since i upgraded to v11.

1. I have the feature to inform of new updates turned on. It always says that a new version is available, do i want to update. I do, and select yes. It goes through the motions of downloading and then after its downloaded it goes to the install portion where it reverts back and goes seems like it cancels.

2. I noticed that when i play music from the jukebox, the mp3 will sound fine and then every 20-30 seconds the song skips or hangs for a second. If i play music natively from windows media player from my file share - there's no problem, it only exists within GameEx.

3. I used to be able to play the jukebox and then go into my pictures and use the slide show. Now the slide show doesnt work at all... Again tried this via my file share outside of GameEx and it works fine.

Is anyone else having this problem and maybe i need to do a manual upgrade to a subsequent version??? Can anyone help?

Hello,

Yesterday after I posted, I did a manual download and install on top with v11.04. It has fixed the constant nag of a new update but the issues with the jukebox and picture slide show are still present.

You could try turning off visualizations see if that helps. Im guessing that may be using additional IO/Bandwidth.

As for the slideshow, I did see that happen once here on a PC. Can you post your gameex.ini please. Thanks.

Ive fixed the slideshow issue on my end. Its an issue with the 3d transitions. As for the Jukebox, were you using 10.80 previously or an earlier version? I need to rule out if it was a library update thats causing this rather than the move to Direct3d. Also did you try turning off the visualizations?

I had 10.80 or laters prior to the last update - I update gameex usually the same week an update is released. The problems started at v11. I tried turning off visualizations and now my jukebox won't even play songs in the que. I turned it back on and the same issue, so now the jukebox doesnt even work. Let me know if you need any information, etc. Thanks for taking the time to look into these issues.

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the jukebox. I can add songs into the que but theynever play. This happened after turning off the visualizations. I've turned them back on but the problem persists. I've attached my gamex.ini fileGameEx.zip . Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Xul,

Could you explain exacly how you have your Jukebox setup? Also if you could confirm if its only affecting certain filetypes, eg just mp3 that would be helpful.

Juke Box Mode: file audio tags, clicking songs automatically plays, jukebox startup wait for track selection, enable media controls is enabled. Is this the info you need?

FYI - I have a library of about 100+ GB's. It finds all the files but when I select, it just add's to que.... nothing else.
