GameEx it with log file when game selected

GameEx loads fine, but when i select update list it exits and brings up the log file which says on the bottom line 20 Consecutive Exceptions Occured: Exiting

It looks like you might be using a very old version of MAME. Could you cofirm the version your using or get the latest?

The version i am using is 094b, i think this is the latest one.

I am having a similar problem, but mine is with the Jukebox.

Could you both please replace GameEx.exe with the debug version I uploaded.

Then try to do the same thing again, and post the logs.

Its Working now, i played with some settings and turned on use 16 bit colour, that worked for me, no problems now.

I'm having the same problem as the people above. Mine is occuring when I open a MAME game. The game will run fine, but i'll see the log file when I exit the game.

I downloaded the debug version you posted and here is my log file.

Its not the same problem, but never mind.

There was no attachment with this, if its a big file, just upload the last half.

Also, tell me about your setup and version of MAME. Have you tried a different version of MAME.

wow, that was crazy fast, thought i'd atleast have time to fix my mistake before you noticed.

I'm working on sorting out why it's not attaching. I'll also try a different version of MAME while i'm at it. I'm on mame32 94 currently.

I downloaded regular mame 94b and switched emulator path with easy config, then I loaded GameEX and everything worked fine. I then switched back to mame32 just to make sure the problem was still there, and now mame32 is working fine also.

I tried working backwards to see if I could duplicate the issue again but I couldn't. This one is prolly just my fault.

Here is the highlight reel from my log file anyway.

I'm gonna keep trying to replicate the problem to see if it was a just a setup issue.
