hia all

not had much time to play wiv gameex but just upgraded to new version today

and now my background video is not playing when im in most of the meuns

it show the video background in favorites but all other menus i get

a blue background. any help please. not done anythink other than a update :/

I'm not sure if you mean just Mame, or other items. Maybe this will help?

17th April, 2010 - GameEx 10.58GameEx now has full unicode text and scripted language display support and the Japanese transalation has been fixed. The display corruption/glitch on windows 7 and vista when GameEx is running windowed is fixed. Improved font display when viewing the control panel. GameEx themes now support these additional background images or videos - "EbookBak", "KaraokeBak", "DVDBak", "NewsBak", "SearchBak" and "LibBak".

you no how some themes have a video playing as a background. like the com theme im useing.. no mat wat menu your in the same background is playing but now ive upgraded i only get the video playing in my favorites menu... all the other menus just show a blue background pic

well crazy cos ive not played with any settings

This is because the advanced graphics setting was removed earlier, so all modules must have a background to work. ie you will need to copy the video background to the other background files.

Ill add a "Use single background" setting in the next release and update the com and Abyss themes. Small oversight on my part that.

brill tom thanks loads for that.... ill wait for the next release instead of messing with it the com theme.
