Just wondering if anyone has a sample config for seting up nulldc 1.6 in gameex. I tried installing the loader on the gammex website but can't get it to work. I'm using windows 7 64 bit but i'm sure it's my setup that the problem. I can run nulldc outside of gameex.

Any help would be appreciated.

Which loader are you referring to? Also post your config. As far as running outside of GameEx, have you tried from command-line?

The one on the gameex website under wrapper & utilities section : NullDC Loader 1.1 A GameEx/Launcher wrapper for the NullDC emulator. 5/8/2008

When you say my config, do you mean the settings on when the emulator under gameex configuration?

Yes the config can be exported by following instructions by mod Tempest found here. Step 1 is the info we need to look at to see they way you have it configured.

Attached is a confi log.

Again, thanks for the assistance. If I don't need to use the loader. That's fine. Just don't know how to make gameex pick the cdi file. I'm thinking maybe my Rompath is wrong.

i had a bit of trouble getting nulldc to work when i was setting up gameex.

one thing i discovered was to go into the .cfg file and edit this line.

"Emulator.AutoStart=1"

make sure you set it to "1"

now, unfortunately this means that nulldc might experience some crashing issues if loaded manually (independently from gameex), but it did fix nulldc running from the command line for me.

here's my command line

nullDC_1.0.3_nommu.exe -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

should be either 'map keys', in the gameex configuration editor, or set up an 'advanced config' with the escape kill switch. it should work the same as any other emulator.

also, i'd recommend using the advanced config editor to set up your emulator controls, seeing as nulldc doesn't have any joystick support.

This worked for me, and I also had to change LoadDefaultImage=0 to LoadDefaultImage=1
