Why Gameex always wants to update my game list?

Hello everybody!

I'm new on this forum and I'm french, so excuse my english.

I have a problem with GameEx.

Everytime I launch Gameex and go to my Mame games, Gameex asks me if I want to update my games list.

It's a bit annoying. Is there a way to cancel that?

Thanks

You should be able to turn off updating in the settings. There is a reason GameEx is trying to update thought. It might be worth the effort to figure out why it's trying to update.

Your answer don't give me any hint, but thanks.

I read the FAQs, tried a LOTS of settings, but I can't figure out why GameEx wants to update every time.

It didn't happen whith older versions of GameEx.

Have you ever let GameEx 'Update List?'

You should let it at least once.

Yes I did it. Several times :)

Post a log. This has happened in the past with older versions of GameEx. I can't remember what the resolution was, but the log may say something that helps point to the problem.

Well ok, but how can I have a log? Can you tell me the procedure?

Its supposed to cancel it if you select "Back" or actually update the list. I know it was a bug though in older versions.

Thanks.

I will do it tomorrow. Sorry I didn't have time today :)
