Having a bit of an odd problem, completely new to the forum and apologies if this has been answered already but I couldn't find a relevant post :(

Anyways I'm using a PS2 pad plugged into a PC running GameEx and a twin USB adaptor. Works fine throughout the menu's but whenever I start a game it just stops working, I'm sure there's an easy answer and it's something daft I've missed but can anyone offer some advice?

Are your referring to MAME?

Everything. I have emu's (Megadrive, SNES, NES etc) and MAME with games installed but none of them seem to respond to the pad besides being able to flick through the main menu's, select a game and go back to the previous screen. Once a game starts the pad just does nothing and I have to use the keyboard to exit back to the GameEx menu.

Does it work outside of GameEx?

It didn't in Game Controllers section of XP so I swapped the port it was plugged into and it works perfectly :)
