Multiple Joysticks Not Working?

When using Mame32, it'll detect multiple joysticks (xbox360 controllers) but when launched from within GameEx, only the first is working. Anybody know why?

Because you need to tell it to run from commandline or from the mame.ini file.

Where are the options for these...? I don't see it in Basic Mame Setting or Advanced Mame Settings.

Anyway, shouldn't GameEx detect them without that? It's set to use "All attached devices." Pretty big problem for being 'right out of the box'.

Okay, after playing around with it for a few hours I'm even more confused.

Yesterday I edited the mame.ini file to look for more joysticks and it seemed like it was working. Now, I notice that it's only some games that are detecting more than the first joystick. Some games aren't. What the hell?

Alright, sorry guys. I knew it had to be something simple. I updated my version of Mame and it's cosmic now!
