Hi Tom,

Would it possible to implement a feature so you can add additional documents to a game? It would be nice to include a scan of a magazine review, a game guide and such to some games.

Also would it be possible to decrease the size of the manuals when viewed with the manual viewer? I get a larger than life picture when opening a manual, which is difficult to read. As far as I can see there is no option to zoom out?

I don't know how much effort this all would be, but I'm just curious if any other users would find this useful features.

Regards,

You can add extra content for emulators already. If you are talking about MAME, that would probably require a new feature.

Ok, I wasn't aware of that possibility. I am toying with it right now, but I can't really figure out how to get it to work. For example I would like to add a scan from a magazine review to my Amiga game "Blood Money"

In the advanced configuration of WinUAE I set the custom art path tot the folder where I keep the scan. I named the .jpg file of the scan exactly after the ROM of the "Blood Money" game.

Despite all this I can't see the scan in Gameex when I open the info page of Blood Money. Do I need to do anything else?

As long as the file has the same name as the rom, the path is correct, and the file is of a type that GameEx recognizes as a valid image format, then it should be available in that rom's game info page. I know that's not much help though. :(

OK, figured it out, andit was my bad, as usual..

In the advanced config, named the custom art name as "Magazine Review", set the custom art path to the scans folder, et voila. Works like a charm.

Thanks Obi-Wan...may the force be with you,
