I changed the name of the Mame Menu in the text/language custom configuration. Now when I go into may favorites, the mame games are listed when I have all the favorites listed, but when I select "by system" and select mame (actually, select my custom title)it says "no games found." Is this a bug?

Did that, and no change.

Are you using custom menus?

Post your log.

Is Z: a network drive? If so, that could be the problem. Would you mind moving Mame to a physical drive, and seeing if that helps? I'm not saying that you sholdn't be able to keep it the way you have it setup, but it would help Tom (The developer of GameEX) pin the problem down, and would confirm the bug.

You may want to search the forum for info on network drives.

The Z: drive is not an external drive. It's just a second internal drive. But I have some more info about the problem. It turns out that the custom text item "Menu - MAME" is not the problem. That can be anything and things still work. But the custom text item "List - MAME" is a problem. When that is anything except "MAME" then the Favorites will be empty when you filter by System and choose your custom text.
