anyone have a good command line to play turbo grafx cd games on mednafen?

the default one isn't working as of now.

the game i'm trying to run came in a .rar, and expanded into 23 different files.

the first is a .cue, and the rest are 23 separate 'tracks'

track 2 and 22 are .iso files, and the rest are .mp3s

my hunch is that the default command line for mednafen doesn't support this filetype(s), seeing as it's an identical command line for running standard turbo-grafx 16 cartridge roms. "mednafen.exe -fs 1 "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

i've also attempted to use magic engine, but none of the roms show up, and i suspect they're being filtered out.

perhaps this is a bad rom. it wouldn't surprise me if someone converted the .wav audio files to .mp3 in order to save space, but breaking the functionality in the meantime.

i found some info on another forum, but nothing seems to work.

edit: oh, and as an afterthought, i have downloaded and installed the bios files, just in case.

edit final: turns out i had a bad rom. all is well.

although, i did discover that i have no idea how to automatically boot magicengine with a rom on startup. selecting a game in teh frontend only opens the emulator, and you have to boot the rom from within the menu.

For MagicEngine the command-line would be:

pce.exe "syscard3.pce"

Note that this emulator requires you to boot the image before loading the emulator. So you can use mounting tools and use the Launch Before setting to apply that or can use GameEx's integration if a registered user and downloaded that function during install using the following command-line:

pce.exe "syscard3.pce"[-VIRTUALDRIVE-]

Either will do. Hope that helps you and glad to see you getting everything going.
