every time i start gameex i get 11 system event log entries:

(from oldest to newest)

The WMI Performance Adapter service was successfully sent a start control.

The WMI Performance Adapter service entered the running state.

The WMI Performance Adapter service entered the stopped state.

The WMI Performance Adapter service was successfully sent a start control.

The WMI Performance Adapter service entered the running state.

The WMI Performance Adapter service entered the stopped state.

The WMI Performance Adapter service was successfully sent a start control.

The WMI Performance Adapter service entered the running state.

over the space of less than a minute (i can give more exact times if it helps)

just wondering if this is normal, and why the system is doing it

WinXP SP2, lots of services are disabled. .net v1.1

does this a few times on gameex exit aswell.

I think this might be to do with the way GameEx checks for running processes of itself and emus/apps.

Maybe that service is used by .net to look up running processes. It might explain why users get the error up startup when checking for GameEx processes if theyve disabled this service. What do you think?
