How to turn off visualizations?

Hi all, ive got a problem. I updated gameex the other day and it is running slowly because of the visualization in the bottom left hand corner (next to the snap) before it used to be a basic bar equalizer, which worked a treat.

It's really starting to annoy me, ive tried deleting the visualization folder, there's no disable button in configuration, and I don't know what to do.

Help would be appreciated

The only way to disable it currently is to use a v2 or v4 theme.

Im surprised it causes slowdown. It would be helpful if you told me your full pc specs.

Hi thanks for the reply, but I do want to keep the theme i already have. Iâ??m just going to revert to an earlier version.

It causes the menu transition to become jumpy and music laggy

I use a

P4 2.40ghz 512mb and 64mb ATI on XP

I can add an option to turn it off easily, I was just trying to figure out if it was an issue for others.

Does it happen with all visualizations? Can you post your log?
