Gameex crashs

After installing the new 10.37 version gameex only shows this error-message:

"This application cant be startet, because the userconfiguration isnt correct. To solve the problem you should reinstall the application." (translated from german).

Ive reinstalled it, deinstalled and reinstalled it and also cleard the registry entry. it all doesnt helps. i cant run gameex any more :(

Did anybody have an idea what happened?

Im using WindowsXP.

Im using WindowsXP.

I got the exact same error. I just reinstalled XP Pro, then .net, and DX9. Then GameEx setup only for MAME with the wizard, ran the registration .reg-file, and GameEx wouldn't start.

uh, oh â?? i've thought, that a XP reinstallation would be my last chance ...

Ill look when I have a chance, but I cant understand why anyone would run XP without the latest service pack!

Yeah, well I just took an old XP licence I had lying 'round the house, and this computer (only GameEx + MAME )will never be online, so I transferred everything that the GameEx installer asked for on an USB stick.

The only thing you need to look at, is the system requirements, and add SP2 to XP. Thanks though.
