I believe to have set up my rom path and working directory correctly for zsnes. GameEx displays the rom list but there is no option to launch the game. I can enter the details view for any rom where the Name, Add to Favorites, and game description are shown but there is no "Play Now" option (or whatever it is called exactly in the Mame list) and if I have the name of the game selection it does nothing when I press button 1. There is no indication that it is trying to launch zsnes and failing, not even in the logs file. Any ideas? Thanks

Sounds like a filter problem. Can you please export and post your config?

By the way, if you have set it to merged sets, you won't see a "Play This Game", but a choice of ROMs instead.

After more investigation it turns out I see this behavior when I have "Merge Sets" set to "Yes". When I have it set to "No" I am able to play the games but have to choose out of a long list of rom variations. Isn't that what the "Merge Sets" functionality is supposed to do? Merge those sets down so I don't have to select which variation to launch?

It mentions NoInto/Goodset/Tosec/ in the help information but does not explain what those are. Any idea what I'm missing here? Thanks!

Please post your config! Saying it doesn't work and we give suggestions doesn't help us to help you. So post your config and we can have a look see.

The merge sets does exactly that where roms with similar names are grouped together. What naming format are your roms in? What is the extension of the roms? Please give more data.
