Ok so I finally got my new joys in and my trackball fixed. I haven't updated gameex in almost 2 years. I spent a lot of hours ( I think) setting up my favorites list. If I update how do I keep from going through 3000 roms to retain my favorites?

Hmm, it *should* retain your favorites. I do remember something about new builds that don't, for one reason or another.

Good luck! in any event make a back up :)

Favorites are kept inthe GameEx\Data\Data.mdb file.

If you have the space, I would do as Brian said, and backup the whole GameEx folder. You don't know what you got till it's gone.

I think it used to be in the GameEx\ folder. Maybe search for it on your computer?

Hopefully, it really did exist then. If not maybe somebody else will know the answer.

The search turned up nothing.
