Duplicating a GameEx install

Hello all,

I am going to be living in Florida for a few months so I will be away from my cabinet

I want to duplicate my gameEx install onto my laptop to bring with me. Once I download and activate GameEx on my laptop, can I simply copy over my cabinet GameEx folder and replace my laptop one? I know I will have to change rom and emulator paths and such but I think this should work, I even run the same resolution on my laptop so my custom theme won't be a problem.

Just wondering if anyone has tried this or if there are any system specific files hidden somewhere that GameEx needs to see.

Will work fine, its done all the time, but the correct procedure is to copy over first then install over the top.

EDIT: Why the unhappy face. Your going to Florida Albeit you didnt say which part!

Well first the inevitable trip to Disney World, and then it's off to Naples for true sunshine. Although I have to say I always end up missing the horrible Chicago weather for some reason.
