Sorry guys I am not trying to be a noob. How can I use my byo x-arcade joystick as a mouse? Actually I just need to figure out how I can shut the pc down when we are done playing with out popping latches and grabbing the keyboard. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry this is my first mame cabinet. I wanted to say thanks for the new years giveaway it rocks!!!! Looks like I mispelled joystick sorry.

Gameex may do this via advanced config. I will have to double check. Congrats on your first mame cab, we would love to see some pics. Your thread title has been fixed. lol

You should be able to exit GameEx with a joystick. Check Enable/Disable features (2) to see if the option Disable Exit = No

Also, check Display Setting (1), and see if Hide Buttons, and Show ToolBar are enabled.

That should give you a couple of different ways to exit.

Yea I know how to exit gameex with the joystick. I was looking for a way to shut the pc down with the joystick. Sorry I probably did not explain enough.

I'm with you.

There should also be options like Enable Shutdown, Hibernate, etc.

If you have those options enabled, when you go to exit you should have a choice from a menu.

Ok cool sorry I thought you meant exit the program. I will dig some more but if someone knows where to go exactly that would be cool.

When I'm trying to find a setting in GameEx, I usually launch the Setup Wizard and use the search feature. It finds things much quicker than I could even go to them directly if I knew where they were! B)
