I'm assuming that a lot of you guys here have the enhanced version of GameEx, I submitted a donation yesterday and have still not been given a return email with any information on how to get the enhanced version. I was hoping one of the veterans could help me out with an estimated wait time or maybe step that I overlooked that is prolonging what the page says should be a less than 1 hour wait time.

Yes, many of us have registered version of Gameex. However Id like to point out that there is no separate version of gameex, a license key will unlock the additional features. So feel free to continue setting up gameex the way you want.

Id also like to add that we are on the Christmas holiday and as you know things do get busy this time of year, dont worry. Also it could be that when you sent your donation Tom was sleeping, our visitors are all over the world.

You should have got some type of email conformation from the site, I know it does ask for an email when registering.

Email [email protected] and put Gameex Reg in the subject line. He will get you sorted out.

Happy holidays and thank you for your contribution

Thanks for the response I love the tool, I just really would like the extras such as goodmerge support and the search tool. I emailed him earlier when I woke up as it said to do on the donations page. The only place I put an email address when donating was in paypal, and the only confirmation I got regarding the donation was a receipt from paypal nothing ever came from this website outside of the forum registration. I assumed the system would automatically email me back a registration key immediately which is why I got worried that something was messed up. Do you think I will get the key today being that it's the Holidays I'm really antsy to get finish things up.

I do think you will get it today. The system does not generate the licence keys. Keep us informed as the day goes on.

I got mine in a few hours way back, but chill out. I bet Tom is still out Xmas shopping!

Stub,

I believe this is resolved. As far as I am concerned everything is "chill" :)

I remember being anxious too when I ordered my reg way back when.

So I've been working all day setting everything up and the one thing that I cannot get to work is exiting an emulator with a joypad.

For example I'm playing Zsnes and I want to exit it without hitting esc on the keyboard. I would perfer to do something like say push start and select on my xbox 360 controller and have it exit the program. Is this or something like this possible? I know I could use x-padder to bind esc to a certain button but I'm not sure how to bind it to a combination like start + select.

One of the things I did try as well was editing the ZSNES V6.ini file and messing with the following code. No matter what I put in it didn't seem to want to exit the program so I don't believe it was the right section.

[GAMEPADEXIT]

#MAP Gamepad controls to exit and make controls exit process

MapGamePadExit=True

#Flag the controls that exit a game by placing True next to each control. To not use the control as part of the combination use a 0

I had problems with the INIs too. Use Advanced emulator config in the config folder in the gameex start menu.

I figured it out I didn't have the emulator set to the correct custom ini so while I did the correct thing I just didn't have it virtually switched on -_-

If you want to use the same buttons for every emulator, there is a file in the Gameex\config file called Custominput.ini.

You will need to 'Enable Custom Joystick Controls' in Input Settings(1)

The relevant section looks like this:

[JOYSTICKEXIT]

# Global game pad exit combination

# Specify button numbers seperated by |

# Button Numbers start at 0

#

# For directions use:

# Left 200

# Right 201

# Up 202

# Down 203

# POV Left 300

# POV Right 301

# POV Up 302

# POV Down 303

JoystickExit=200|202|3|4|5
