Hi,

Is it possible to have an Animated GIF Loading Screen?

Got it sorted to a point, just converted the GIF to an Avi and used the Video at Startup option in the Multimedia/HTPC category in Adv Config.

Only thing is that there is no sound with the video, no doubt its something simple but I've been through Adv Config a few times with no joy.

Any Ideas?

Well, GIFs dont have sound, or maybe I misunderstand? You could use something like virtualdub to add a sountrack to your converted avi.

Sorry never quite made myself clear with this one, but its ok its sorted now thanks.

It was a GIF, converted to AVI and sound added with WinMovieMaker but when saved as AVI no sound played in GameEX (but did in WMP),

so I saved it as a WMV instead and it works in GameEX just fine
