Hi all,

I'm contemplating putting together a custom theme with the theme editor and was wondering about how images are handled in V4. I noticed that a few of the newer themes posted here on the forums have two images featured on the individual title pages - often one with the main snap and one with the title screen.

The main image is clearly the snap by default, but how do you define the path that 'image2' is accessing? Or is there another creative way that people have figured out to get the appearance of two images on the screen? (compilation images, etc)

I'm sorry if this has been asked before - I had searched the forums but the answer to this was a little unclear.

Any help you can give would be appreciated - Thanks!

I don't know this for sure, but I believe that the art paths must be selectable by the user in the emulator config. The reason I believe this is that is that on page 4 of the emulator setup, there are Custom Art Name (1,2,3), and Custom Art Path (1,2,3).

For Custom Art Path 1, I have :

C:\Documents and Settings\tspeirs\Desktop\Nintendo 64 - Cart Scans (No-Intro 20080521)(U)(EmuMovies)\Nintendo 64 - Cart Scans (No-Intro 20080521)(U)(EmuMovies)

It seems odd, because I don't have a user account for tspeirs....

BTW: I have no experience with the Theme Editor, but I do like to poke at Tom when I get a chance. tongue.gif

Image 1 is snap/video path and image 2 is title snap path. So whatever those paths are pointed to will display in the relevant image.
