Custominput for main menu

I can only assume the custom input file is for the main menu controls but before I start to play about with it;

Can the custominput accept more than one control (on the same control), as I would like to the up, down, etc.. on Cursor keys, XBox Controls and XArcade Controls (Xarcade is the bit here I can't seem to get working on the standard factory settings, and i don't want to change from the factory settings)

(Future Update maybe: Is there anyway to create a setup in the main config program to change menu controls?)

Also does anyone know to change the controls for Stella (Atari 2600) emu?

I'm about to test then upload all the emus I have set (and working) as well as the control fields for xbox and xarcade controllers for both mame and gameex.
