I tested Stella 3.0 recently and loved it's quality. So I decided to ditch MESS for the 2600 and move to stella. Yes I'm a noob.

I can launch Stella in hi-res, full screen from command line.

stella.exe -fullscreen 1 -uselauncher 0 "rompath\romfile.a26

is what I used and it launches perfectly.

But in GameEx: Stella.exe -fullscreen 1 -uselauncher 0 "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" launches the game, but not in fullscreen, AND I can only use the mappings that Stella released with, NOT the gamepad mappings I created in Stella.

When launching from the command line, it works perfectly i.e full screen and with teh joy mappings I mapped in options of Stella. What am i missing?

I'm having trouble with my config files. Advanced Config is no longer making changes to the ini. I discovered that after hitting tab within the game to try and change my options. I realized it was still using MESS even though I'd changed it to Stella. I manually edited the config file and all is golden. But advanced config is not making any more changes to ini's in any system. Any ideas?

Love that post at emumovies forum, I responded there.

Regarding the INI write, Are you using Vista or Win7? Perhaps you need to run the programs as administrator.
