I am going to release this theme I made and if there are any complaints from the original author I will take it down. I don't think the font is quite right so I will change it if I find a better one.

I like how the monitor clips the corners of the videos so it looks more like an old CRT did.

That would be nice, but it must be something in the way GameEx handles images. Like I was having a hard time getting the video to stay behind the monitor when switching from a 3:4 to widescreen display. I still don't think it's right. It would be nice if objects would stretch into the area of the rectangle. Not sure why the marquee/snaps etc. don't display at all though.

Looks great so far HK, I like it. I agree on the font though, it needs to be something more simple and readable.

On a side note... how are you running Dragon's Lair? Through Daphne or MAME?

Hopefully something can be done about that. That would really make GameEx more complete!

Yeah, that would be pretty cool if the marquees did display, Strange that they don't. I even tried messing with it in the theme editor with no luck :/

Well the problem is simple, you have on your *_Foreground images to erase the up of the cab to let appear the marquee. Currently, the marquee is hidden behind the cab, drawn on the *_Foreground images. The fix is easy!

I can't believe I didn't realise that lol. Thanks for pointing it out. I've uploaded a new version which shows the marquee images over the top of the arcade machine now. Looks alot better It would probably be best to go into the Setup Wizard and remove all the images apart from marquees for the full effect.

In the other thread, I originally posted to BK that I wish I had thought of what he had said first, then I realized that I could say it first, and edited my post(s). All done with ordinary mortal power, no Mod powers used at all.

Actually, it's not Tempest that made that possible. I didn't quote him so he wasn't locked in on his statement. Of course, now that he has god powers he could have edited my quote of his post to match his post.
