Is it possible to control the output size of video snaps created with GameEx? All I got to choose was the video codec, but I ended up with very small videos with no sound. I'd like to make 640x480 videos with sound, if possible. I can't seem to find the settings (if they exist) in the GameEx configuration program.

Can I change these settings, or am I stuck with the small videos and no sound?

Thanks

You can use the theme editior to adjust the size of the video window, Also under audio seetings I believe there is an option to enable and disable the video preview audio.

I appreciate the reply, but I think you misunderstood. The videos that are created are very small, and have no sound, even when played outside of GameEx, in Media Player Classic, for example. There is simply no audio recorded during the "Create Snaps" process. I'd like to change the size of the video that gets captured, not the size that gets displayed in GameEx. Can it be done?

It does not currently record sound. The size of the videos are based on whatever the full screen resolution the emulator is running at though. So if you run the emulator it at a higher res, the videos will be bigger.

Did you try ScreenShot Magician? It does record sound...

I'm also having trouble with the video snaps. Despite a higher resolution 1366x768 or 1920x1080/1200 they always come out at 320x180 25fps and playback too fast.

I've tried many different codecs such as ffdshow with either divx, mp4, mjpeg, uncompressed etc and varying bitrates and profiles. I have cccp, ffdshow a cyberlink mpeg 2 decoder, .net, drivers, and dx installed.

Until this feature was implemented I originally was going to manually capture every game using hycam2 with ffdshow as it would allow me to record sound with any resolution and any codec.

Is there any setting I can change or script I can use to either change the native encoding for video snaps or a path I can change to use hycam2 and also change the duration of each snap? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
