How can I get psx emu to load a game (that is mounted with daemon tools)from the E: drive.

I can load a game by using "Insert CD Drive" then pointing to the E: Drive manually, but how can I do this automatically within GameEX?

I have no experience with it, but GameEx has the ability to mount an image. I think that you add [VirtualDrive] to the command line?

Search the forum.

I use ePSXe, with .iso files, and the command is: psxfin.exe -f "[ROMpath]\[RomFile]"

At least that's the way I remember it...

I've switched from the PSX emu to ePSXe and am using the command - ePSXe.exe -nogui[-virtualdrive]

Also I am using:

Launch Before - "C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -mount 0,"[RomPath]\[RomFile]"

Launch After - "C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe" -unmount 0

While this works for most games, some games just return back to GameEx.

I'm going to look through the forums to see if anyone else has had similar issues.

I fixed the not loading problem by removing the "[virtualdrive}" part from the commandline. Now the game only shows in the top left portion of the screen.

This is why I wanted to use PSX emu, I knew using ePSXe would be troublesome

Fixed the screen issue by adding -slowboot to the commandline.

Thanks, that worked! Can't believe how easy that was

The reason I am using a virtual drive is that some of the redump.org games have a .cue file with multiple .bin files and I can't get PSX emu to run these using "open CD image".
