Change what image list shows

Is there an option to change what is shown when viewing games as images?

currently it shows titles only and I would like, for instance, to show box art for a particular system.

Also, is there a way to increase the number of thumbnails that are shown?

I tried to enlarge the list box in theme editor, but it just makes the thumbnails larger and decreases the number of thumbnails.

I guess I could point to box art in the titles path.

Is there a way to have image lists to show titles, and the previews to show snap(or video), and underneath this the box front (instead of the titles pic).

Does this make sense?

When viewing mame, it seems to be able to show a different picture (marquee) than what is shown in the image list (title).

is this a unique feature only for mame?
