Joystick and USB

This may be a bit off topic to the GameEx forums but does anyone know how to make it so everytime I plug in my USB XArcade Adapter (or XBox Adapter) to my PC USB port it doesn't keep trying to auto install a new driver?

I know all I have to do is to select Ok and everything is fine (it auto finds the driver) but how do I automatically make it so it doesn't keep finding and asking me when I plug the USB adapter in (after unplugging it or turning off machine without it plugged in)

Any idea's anyone?

This is so I can use my XBox Controller on the GameEx Menu. (runs like a normal joystick and the Xbox port is USB after all!)

This is not the usual behaviour of a USB device, it should in theory install the driver once and then whenever you plug it in again it should just work. The only situation where I have seen this happen is when I plug the device into a different USB port it seems some devices need to install the driver again for each port.

It shouldn't prompt you after it's installed. I plug my XBox DDR pad and game pad in and out all the time. The only time it prompts again is if you plug it into a different USB port.
