Hello all,

apologies if this has already been answered but I couldn't find it an answer when I searched

Basically I recently updated mame but my games list seems a bit too small (Model 3 games for example do not show despite them being in the roms folder)

I've read that I need to update the game list but I cannot seem to find this option anywhere...please help :(

It should be at the very bottom after you enter mame games on the starting menu. I think it says update all(?)

If its not there, you will need to turn it on using the advanced configuration editor.

There is an option to turn off the update list item. If that item is turned off in the setup, you won't be able to see it to update your list.

I'm having issues with the update list as well. It seems that it doesn't capture all games. For example Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time is not listed, nor is Guwange. Is there a way I can add these manually to the list so I don't have to select them through Mame32 (where it is playable)? The update list does not account for some games, and I have the filters set off for verify rom, only existing games, etc. Thanks for the help.

Look at this: http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=5072&st=0&p=34705entry34705

Keep in mind that some games might be clones that you wouldn't expect to be.

Hi Tempest, thanks for the reply. I did what was shown on the page you linked where I switched all the filters to no (except allow imperfect games, which is a yes), allow all imperfect games, and show all games for lists...and Guwange and TMNT: Turtles in Time are still not shown. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way I can manually add it in? Thanks!

Did you update the list?

You can add it to the 'Do Not Filter' List.
