5.17 Error when opening program

Hey Tom, great work with the software, I love it. I just Downloaded and installed 5.17 and got this message:

18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: Running Randomize()

18:16:02.8 11/17/2005: Initialising Video/MNG DLL's

18:16:02.9 11/17/2005: Unable to load DLL (PlayVideoBak.dll).

18:16:03.0 11/17/2005: ERRORS DETECTED: EXITING

What should I do now? I reinstalled but I get the same message after installing. I don't use the video features anyhow, can I turn something off in the config to prevent this or does PlayVideoBak.dll load regardless of the settings? Thanks for the help.

This is likely because you installed .net framework version 2.0 from windows update. GameEx is currently not working if 2.0 is installed. Just uninstall it from Control Panel, and make sure you still have v 1.1 installed.
