Is there anyway to have Game Ex use a regular compiled version of Mame as well as Misfit Mame? Like can you set up Misfit Mame in Game Ex the same way you setup regular Mame?

I am not even sure if Misfit Mame offers a non-GUI version?

Any help would be great, thanks!

I think that is what I am going to do as well. I noticed there is not a command line version of the newest, any idea why?

Which version are you using that doesn't have a CLI? The latest I'm seeing is Misfitmame 127G. Am I wrong? If not then this version works just fine using the command line. Simply use the following command line and set your roms directory in the emulator.

misui32.exe [ROM]

If you want everything in a single list, then yes. Check out the mameemumap.ini file. You can set up the extra roms that misfitmame supports in that file and it should work ok. The only thing is that you may not get any information displayed in the game info screen for those new games. You should have your artwork and such displayed though.

Well, actually there are 2 ways to use the mameemumap.ini. You can set up the file to point directly to the other version of mame OR you can set up a second emulator for misfitmame and then point the ini to that emulator number. If you use the second option, you can have a database that contains information for those new roms. I think you should use this method just to make sure it will look good.

I will give this a try, thanks.
