starbuck Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I have a lot of movies with the M4v extensions. Currently I convert them to avi. In a number of instances when I convert them I lose my sinc with picture and sound. They play fine as a M4v on my PSP. Will GameEx play M4v files. When I try to run them they don't even show up in GameEx. Am I doing something wrong or missing a option.

celly Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I have a cubic ass ton of MP4's for my PSP. I just configured my VLC player as an emulator through GameEx. Works like a champ plus I like VLC better than WMP, that just me personally. And, I didn't have to reconvert them.
starbuck Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 Hi Tom and CellyMy WMP doesn't reconize the M4v extension. If I change the extension to avi ,WMP just locks up.Celly could you post a link to your player. Also can you show your config for the player. Don't have a lot of M4v's yet, but I agree I like the format better. As I get more ,your player sounds like the way to go.

My config for it is real simple: vlc.exe "[rompath]/[romfile]"
