Mame .. Hide additional info in parenthesis?

I'm sure it's been covered I couldn't find info on this with the search.

The other emulators have an option Remove Text in Brackets based on file names, which is all good. In the mame configuration there is nothing similiar to this. How can I just display the game name without extra info?

example:

Game (Revision-A)

Game (Revision-B)

Game (Revision-C)

Game (cockpit)

Game (cockpit-B)

Game (standup-a)

I just want Game to show.
