Neo Geo games not showing up

Hey guys,

I have quite a few Neo Geo games and they aren't showing up in GameEx at all. I have the "show neo geo games" option checked off in the configuration, but when I try to find them in the menu they aren't there. The files are in my roms directory and I have rescanned the entire list, yet they just aren't coming up. Is there another option I'm missing somewhere to get them to show up?

I'm guessing this is a problem with the version of MAME you are running. Version 0.129 or so broke all Neo Geo games due to a change in the storage location of a file in all roms. If that's what's going on, you either need to disable "Verify Roms" or update to 0.130 or newer.

Ah, that could be it. Thanks for the info; I'll give that a go when I get home. I guess I'll have to do a rescan after making the "verify roms" change?

Edit: I know for sure I'm running mame 0.133, so I guess my last option is gonna be the verify roms thing.

Your roms need to match your version of mame as well.
