hello first post!!!!!!!!!!

using mamext all in one and registered gameex (lotta work so figured only fair to pay

my x-arcade tankstik dont work.. did some searching here and found the keyboard crossref with slik and x arcade controls, i would have no problem configuring the x-arcade to keyboard crossref

but THERE ARE NO PLAYER 2 CONTROLS LISTED!!!!.. why cant gameex be made to direct to a cfg file? if id have known i was gonna have this prob i wouldnt have gotten a front end, i'm dumb spent countless hours looking for front ends that where easy and good ui.any help would be appreciated thanx shane

I believe the easiest way is to add "-ctrlr x-arcade" to the MAME command line under Advanced MAME settings.

Thats all I did on my cab.

can you direct me to where that command line goes?can i cut and past it?

Run the setup wizard from the start menu. Start Menu > Alll Programs > GameEx > Setup Wizard

Click on "Next"

Choose "Custom"

Click on "Next"

Put a tick in the box for "Advanced Mame Settings"

Click on "Next"

When I got my x-arcade I had no idea about command line options. I used mame32 to generate the mame.ini. then i used this mame.ini with the command line mame.

this way you have a graphical user interface to configure mame... this might be handy if you wanna change more options than just setting the controller (like mouse and light gun config).

btw you can change the keys from inside command line mame by pressing the tab key!
