sticky keys and emu i think

ok so I have my cab built now with my custum control panel and everything works fine except when I play games like super mareio bros. (nes) mario kart or any game where you are holding down one button and pressing another at the same time. what happens is that it just seems to crash the emulator of whatever game I'm playing, anyone experienced this before or knows whats going on

ok so I just tried with the nestopia emu itself and it seems 2 be with player 1's 2nd button it just seems to pause the emulatiom be it briefly or permanently

Is this a problem when you play the emulator outside GameEx, or just when launched from GameEx? Is the game actually crashing, or is it closing and returning to the FE? If both of these are true, then perhaps you have a key combo that you don't realize is set up to exit the emulator.

yeah the button I thought was playing up is ctrl but I tried changing them in the winipac and it says driver install fail. Then I tried a different emulator and it wouldnt pick up the first 3 buttons, I have turned off the keybard shortcuts on the emulators thinking that might be it but nothing, iI have tested everything outside of game-ex on just the emulators,
