Control panel image for emulators

I have so many emulators set up and can't keep the button assignments straight. For emulators, the button assignments don't really change per game, so I just need to set up one image per emulator that I can access while in GameEx. I know there is a way to have such an image pop up for a few seconds whenever you launch a game, but that's not really what I want, because I just want to view it when I want to. And I know there are Custom Folders, but that is expecting a folder of images with rom names. Any ideas as to how best accomplish this?

Although excellent for Mame, I'm not sure CPWizard is up to the task for emulators. In another post, for example, Headkaze says "some emulators just don't like being minimized like Project 64 so some of them won't work with CPWizard." This seems like something everyone would want to do in GameEx (how else can you remember which button on your panel maps to "left shoulder button" in the N64 emulator, for example?)
