Are there any alternatives to PPJoy out there?

I'm running Vista x64 which won't let the driver install for PPJoy and so many games now will only let 1 player use the keyboard :(

So far I'm thinking my only alternative is to install XP or Vista x86 or replace my keyboard encoder with a joystick encoder.

I'd love to upgrade to a pair of UltraStik 360's but than means a whole new control panel :(

Thanks

There is a utility called ReadyDriver Plus that boots your Vista so that unsigned drivers can be allowed. It does it by sending keystrokes to the boot menu of Vista where such an option exists. This should get you by, however, at a cost of lessened security.

Have you managed to get PPjoy working with Vista x64?

I've previously tried this method, though I was manually selecting the boot option myself but I still get the same installation error saying:

"Error installing new device drivers. PPJoy will not be operational.

You will need to manually install the device drivers."

Thanks anyway, it was worth a shot
