Please help me

i have only 5 mame games located in a folder and i have configured gameEx correctly .

i update the game list within gameex and it now shows 3000+ games;furthermore, i cannot play the games that i have

the games are in .zip format and the filter "*.zip" option did not work when i tried it

My question: How do i list the 5 games only?

all my other emulators work like a charm
