LED animations and that darned spinner

The spinner I mentioned before.. Well I am wondering maybe if it is defective, can't get it to work in windows even at all...

My other problem is the RGB light setup. In reading what I could, I have tried multiple settings with LED blinky and the LED plugin here from HeadKaze; but it is driving me batty. Regardless of what I try to set my inputs to in either plug in, only the trackball, the 3 buttons left of the trackballl and a couple buttons on payers 1 and 2 are lighting up and working. It's about a third of what should be working. Anyone ever had only 1 of 3 LEDwizes show up at all? Any ideas?

EDIT: I knew if I gave up and posted THEN I would figure out what was wrong! I tried to see if I could delete this post but see no options to. In crawling down into the cab with a flashlight I found an obscure blue usb cord near the power outlet nowhere near the PC. In tracking it it ended in the wiring of the control panel somewhere under the other wires tied in. I plugged it into the PC, and got hit with multiple Windows "badings"... music to my ears. Now in attract mode all LEDs lit up; and the roller moves the cursor. Eureka! Paydirt!
