TunnelVision (1280x720) 16:9 Basic Theme

There are not many choices for GameEx themes with background animation and/or 16:9 resolutions. This can hopefully fill both of those holes a bit. This looks good from 1280:720 up to 1980:1080 (for 16:9 widescreen displays only). This basic main theme package includes just the basic files needed for the basic theme of TunnelVision. AVI files take up a lot of space, so the animated menu selections and extra background animations will be available as separate downloads. Either get them all individually or pick and choose.

This zip contains the TunnelVision basic files with a background animation, an intro animation, the sound files, and graphics. My menus are customized, so you can either use the included menu images as I have, map them the way you want, or just use your own, it is up to you.

My customized main menu has the following basic non-animated graphics included (map them the way you want)...

Inside of my Utilities folder is a customized folder called "Change Status Modes" (it is an animated menu selection and will be up for individual download separately if you want it. That menu has non-animated graphic selections so they are included here as well...

Actually, your feedback IS needed. It was tweaked based on some feedback as it was tested by Brian last week. If people download this and it works fine for them, then I will put up the animated menu selections as well. Got to make sure this part works first though, so let me know if it works for you. Also, can give various background animations too, so if this works, more choices will follow...

Please remember, this one is for widescreen 16:9 displays only!

P.S. One quick note, as mentioned on another thread the scrolling text in the jukebox when playing songs bleeds over a bit too far to the left of this widescreen theme. At the moment, that part of GameEx isn't editable in themes though.

Do you have any plans on making 3:4 versions of your animated backgrounds?

That was how the idea started out, but I realized the lack of many widescreen ones, and since these animations look better in widescreen; I took the progress to that point and changed sizes. Right now I am waiting to get people's thoughts. I don't know if people will want to use and download an animated theme this size (plus the animation menu items etc), I don't know how much bandwidth I have available too.

Bottom line is it is up to the forum readers. Are there 4:3 GameEx users wanting a TunnelVision theme at 1074x768 (which would also be good at 800x600). If there is some kind of response I could devote some time to converting them and offer both. One good thing at least is there is no jukebox song bleed over at he top on the 4:3 resolutions as I have tested it to see.
