Trouble with SNES roms

Hi there. Im having a bit of a trouble with SNES roms. The files are .smc format and somehow GameEx does not find any games and reports "No Games" when I go into the SNES emulator... I use the *.* filter and have also tried to use *.smc filter with same results. I have tried to place the .7z file in the folder and then GameEx finds the file and when I open it it also finds the games but freezes when I try to load a game from the file.... Any ideas??

We do not condone the downloading of illegal files here. Stating that you have downloaded a million games in a single torrent isn't needed information.

The point is cut and dry. You are having issues using 7zip files. Id try disabling the database in the emu config. Perhaps your files arent any good. Do they work outside gameex? Im going to edit your post, please exercise better judgment in the future. You will find most forums have the same rules.

Sorry about that. I was in a hurry going somewhere and didnt think it through. Will be more careful in the future. But thanks for your reply, I will try use your suggestion...

Hi. I have tried your suggestion but with no luck. I also tried to load some of the roms into the emulator without using GameEx and there they work. I cant find any info on if GameEx supports .smc files?? Do I maybe need to zip each file into its own .7z file?? Any ideas??

Are you a registered GE user? I wonder if you have 7zip enabled. See if it is and disable.
