Problems creating Snaps

Hello!

I want to make some new ingame snaps for my snes collection beacuse the snap pack aviable at gameex website is bad (black borders, small image size etc...). Ok so here's the problem:

Im using SNES9x 1.51 improved, evertime i press ESC to create the snap the menu bar opens (now visible in screenshot), sometime the screen also goes black for a second and the screenshot's also black

I tried to remap/Block the ESC Button (by map keys) but it seems that gameex ignores this in the creating snaps mode, whatever. Exiting games by joystick combo also doesnt work in the "creating snaps mode".

Is it possible to change the Button for creating a snap (maybe lay it on the Joystick ) ?

What naming convention is your romset? There are other sources for snaps to save you some time.

I haven't checked in a while, but I'm pretty sure EmuMovies has complete sets for most Nintendo platforms. You might want to check since Circo does some really nice work!

thx bkenobi, but the set is USA only, thats not what Im looking for :/

Any ideas how to solve the problem with ESC ?

Good point! Circo is primarily focused on US sets and uses NoIntro naming, both of which would be problems for what you want.

to create snaps for Karafun without using GameEx. If you can't find what you need, I could adapt the script to SNES for you.

script runs great and i've already used it for other emulators by changing a few things. I'll update more on the original thread.

Okay found a work around: i use the snes 9x screenshot button and wrote a small prog that removes the 000 at the file end ^^ not perfekt but works for me!

Sorry, I wasn't ignoring this topic, I started making a generic program that would run with any emulator setup in GameEx, and it is more complicated than I had hoped. Maybe someday...

could be useful, guess there are more emus around that have problems with ESC..
