I was thinking about loading Game Ex onto my PC that has a touchscreen monitor. Anyone here currently navigating Game Ex on a touchscreen?

GameEx should work OK on a touch screen, and there is a setting for it under input settings. However I dont really know how well this works in practice. I know people have used GameEx in a touchscreen setup though.

Good to know, I will give it a shot.

Thanks Tom.

I use a touch screen it works fine other than the buttons being a little small and sometimes too close to the edges of the touchscreen let me know if anyone does any thing else with touchscreen support I would definitly be able to test anything

we could use some cool touchscreen add-ons for the jukebox in game ex its still kind of hard to find music when you have a large amount

maybe an on screen keyboard to make searching easier

and some album cover search for touchscreen like the expensive but very cool looking ejukebox program

I have touch screen but its only a 67.5" version and no good for game ex. What i need is to be able to split game ex or extend it across two screen with the menu on the bottom half and the info on the top half ...

I just hooked mine up (17 inch touchscreen) so I haven't been able explore what games are available but I'd be interested if anyone else has any suggestions as well and what 3rd party jukebox software are you using? Many choices with nothing good for what I want in my jukebox software hunt.

we need to be able to see game ex running on the touch screen while playing a game that is on the s video cable coming out of the graphics card anyone have any ideas?

erm it is possible but doesn't work properly. i have game ex still showing on the bottom screen now but it does not work. as in you cannot do much with it. it shows games ex on the bottom screen and game on main screen but its just for looks that all.

I need to get around to working on it again but been to bissy lately.

What i what to see is game ex having the ability to span across two screen with the ability to have the menus on my lower screen and the videos and pics and info on the top screen. Now i figured out a way of making my own customised set up and not having it full screen but stretched across both screen's but again its not perfect and needs work or coding that i cannot do..

Installed Game Ex on my touch screen and it works well now all I need to do is figure what games are fun to play on it. I tried install Fruit Machines but I am not too impress with them or the software used to emulate them. I need to search around to see if the Mame Megatouch games will work and what else is out there.

Visitor Q,

Are you using the Dell Studio One 19? Just ordered mine as a secondary for our home. It had some really cool 'home management' software included, so it'll be a family hub of sorts. However, I plan to setup a mean Jukebox/Gaming fronted, hopefully using GameEx, for when people come over.

My first thought when I saw this computer on sale was "oh my god, an in home mega touch!" After a few disappointing searches, learning how megatouch software doesn't work with a PC, I was about to give up.

Thank God for this site. Let me know if that is the system you are using, so maybe we can throw some ideas around. Especially, which games work best with touch screen (and if you know of any photohunt like games that would work for it).

Take it easy.

Dell Studio One 19, nope... I had to even look to see what that was.

I have about 10 to 15 Pop Cap Games installed, they all work great. Working on some Mame support as we speak...

I would love to grab a screen that would allow me to fully customize, like most guys here, but unfortunately, we needed a family computer. The one I got has some nice features, and will work great once Windows 7 and the TouchPack is released. Plus, the on-screen keyboard pops up within just about any program, and I would think will work nice with GameEx.

Not to sound like a cheap skate, but are there any games that are either; A. Free (and only need a mouse/touch input) or B. a package of games/mini games similar to that of megatouch or anything with a wide variety? I've been checking PopCap, a few other places, even WildTangent, but can't seem to find anything that doesn't charge at least 9.99 a game. Don't get me wrong, that's cheap, but I would rather have 30 good games than 5 great ones.
