This may have been covered and I apologize if it has. Is it possible to Filter other emu roms, ie N64 or SNES in a similar that MAME does it????

Ok, that's not clear... I have thousands of roms that I have to scroll through, in MAME it covers genre, date... manufatorer etc. Is this possible for other EMU's??

Its not possible to filter by genre, manufacutrer etc as this information is only available for MAME.

Withtthe latest version of GameEx you can simply remove ROM's and add them to a filter list by pressing the delete key.

The other method is to use a wildcard string in the filter roms setting eg *(U).zip

Is that ok for you?

Would it be possibly to create this function??? I know (or at least I think I know) that mame uses information in the catver.ini??? I am guessing this file is in some way passed to game ex to create the listings/filters.

If this is the case would it be possible to have user created ones??? I could dump the contents of the folder to a txt file.. then create a catver type ini file.

Or am i WAY OFF?????
