I have my setup configured to play an MP3 track in the ambience setup.

The setup is:

Core2Duo E6550 2.4 GHz

2 Gb RAM

Embedded sound and additional sound card for arcade ambience.

I can play the same MP3 on my Macbook pro (core2duo) without a stutter.

But when I play this in the gameex interface, no other activity, not even A/V running, it stutters from time to time.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
